Story Collection

Unlock the Bar is interested in collecting stories of people who have been impacted by criminal and civil legal systems, or from another marginalized group, that have encountered difficult experiences with the Character and Fitness process. These stories will be used to garner support internally on the different facets of our movement, and will also be compiled for our story/narrative bank, which brings to life the personal narratives that are the heart of the movement to abolish the Character and Fitness. Please let us know if you would like your story to be anonymized. Stories related to the New York Bar are especially welcome.
